Torre de' Passeri is located in Abruzzo, in the province of Pescara, at the center of the Val Pescara, on the banks of the river of the same name.
It is a lively and well-connected village: about 30 km from Pescara and the Adriatic Sea; 40 km from Gran Sasso and the National Park of Majella; less than 2 hours from Rome thanks to the A25 motorway exit.
The village
It has about 3,000 inhabitants, and features a characteristic historic center with narrow streets, stone houses, and historic palaces. It is famous for the medieval tower that gives its name to the village and for its panoramic position over the valley.
