point Quarna Sotto is an Italian town of only 400 inhabitants, located in the mountains above the town of Omegna, on Lake Orta.

In 1970 the road that led to Alpe Camasca, the largest and most beautiful Alpine pasture in Quarna Sotto, was completed. Traditional site of the celebrations of San Rocco that originate from the feast of Sant'Egidio organized in the early twentieth century by Egidio Rampone, owner of the prestigious wind instrument factory, to celebrate his name day. The party was then moved to August 16th and continues to be an event heard by the inhabitants.
