This luxurious villa is located on the edge of the town Buti, with the cities Lucca and Pisa just up the road. Also the city of Florence is nearby, and takes max 1 hour to reach by car and train.
A fantastic view over the medieval town of Buti and her surroundings as well as the secluded location between lots of olive trees are just some of the magnificent features of this villa. The view is also enjoyable in the large sized swimming pool, where sunbathers can enjoy complete privacy and all-day sunlight whilst listening to the small-town sounds and peace of the small valley.
The property has been completely restored and modernized in 2010. In the same period the pool is landscaped and completely refurbished its own orchard with 1,600 trees. Around the villa, beside to the pool and the vast olive orchards, the villa provides in several nice terraces.
On the ground floor is a cozy living room with two seating areas equipped with a fireplace. There are 8 bedrooms spread over the first and second floor.. Each floor has its own fully equipped bathroom. The bedrooms are very spacious and quiet. Each room is equipped with air conditioning and an insect screen system against flies and mosquitoes.
On the terrace next to the kitchen, a authentic pizza oven is situated, of which very few still exist
With all facilities nearby including a bakery, various supermarkets and many fine restaurants. For shoppers, Pisa and Florence are the designated cities to visit.
The property is an ideal base for day trips to the cities of Lucca (20 mins) and Pisa (25 min) as well as Florence, Volterra and San Gimignano (max 1 hour). These cities are among the major attractions of Tuscany and the beautiful Chianti region, which is easy to discover from Buti.
The beaches at Marina di Pisa and Viareggio, where many sun-worshipers manage to find a spot on one of Italy's most beautiful beaches, are reachable within an hour. Also, the world famous Cinque Terre offers an ideal day trip, and is accessible within 1,5 hours by highway (boat trips start at Lerici).
The last 50 meters of the access road are steep, but paved.
